Signing ceremony of Memorandum of Understanding between Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and Korea National Diplomatic Academy

On 25th April 2017 in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics (HCMA) and Korea National Diplomatic Academy (KNDA) signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on cooperation programs. This MoU is the result of the discussion between the two parties during the trip of the HCMA’s President to Korea in October 2016.

Speaking at the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Thang, HCMA’s President warmly welcomed KNDA delegation to the Academy and affirmed that the MoU will establish the formal framework of cooperation between the two parties and open opportunities for cooperation in diverse fields. The MoU would also continue to promote the friendship between Vietnam and the Republic of Korea in general as well as between the Academy and KNDA in particular.

In recent years, the Academy has established relationships with many partners around the world in line with the policy of active international integration, diversification and multilateralization. So far, the signature of the MoU has made KNDA one of the most important partners of the Academy.

Prof Yun Duk-Min, KNDA’s Chancellor expresses his sincere thank for the hospitality of the Academy and the honor of visiting the Academy and signing the MoU, which plays an important role in promoting the cooperation between KNDA and HCMA and hence, improve the quality of work of both sides by learning and sharing experiences and ideas.
