Speaking at the workshop, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ngo Tuan Nghia stated that the theory “the productive relation is consistent with the level of productive force’s development” is one of the objective laws of social mobilization and development. Addressing the relationship between the development of productive forces and the improvement of productive relations is the key to the success of an economic regime. Moreover, if this kind of relationship is well addressed, it will motivate the mobilization and rational allocation of resources, which can ensure the interests of the subjects and promote socio-economic development, whereas misunderstanding and improper handling of this relationship will lead to risks of economic slippage, social crisis, and possible threat to the survival of the regime. .

Overview of the workshop

All speakers at the workshop affirmed that the socialist development of our country required not only the development of productive forces, but also the improvement of productive relations. Productive relations should be enhanced step by step, from low to high level in consistence with the development of productive forces.

This workshop is an opportunity for scientists, trainers and learners to understand the theoretical and practical issues of the relationship between productive relations and productive forces in the context of modern market economy, in order to study and propose policies for economic development of the country given the impact of the industrial revolution 4.0, globalization trends and international integration.
