A century of transitional period toward Socialism has witnessed various ups and downs with both successes and failures in countries mentioned above. Thanks to that fluctuating period, each nation on its own path toward Socialism has gained valuable experiences and thus, initially formulated some rules of the construction of socialism.

A century of Real Socialism’s construction resulted in both victories and defeats, requiring “to repeatly do what seemingly have already been done” (Karl Marx). This reality has provided the theoretical understanding and mixed feelings to those who honor and believe in the cause of revolution and development. The course of realizing socialism is definitely glorious but does entail hard work.

The diverse realities of Real Socialism over the past century when viewed from scientific perspective could help conclude a number issues of rules and experiences which efficiently facilitate the construction of Socialism in each nation. In addition, these realities brought about the establishment of scientific proof for those who love and respect Socialism and who are struggling for its core values, namely development, justice, equality, freedom, democracy and peace. It follows that in the 21st century, humankind is still in transition toward Socialism, but well equipped with new knowledge obtained from observations of the world in the past 100 years and of the current reforms and innovations.
