 BRIEF INFORMATION ON THE CONTRIBUTION OF DOCTORAL THESIS

Title: “Sustainable development of rural economy in the western districts of Hanoi"

 SUMMARY OF THE MAJOR CONCLUTIONS

  1. Sustainable development of the rural economy is the process of close, rational combination between three dimensions of sustainable development in economy, society and environment. Overview of contents and factors affecting sustainable development of the rural economy with the following basic issues: 1) To develop productive forces, to enhance labor productivity in sectors in rural areas; 2) To build and complete production relations in order to ensure the sustainable development of the rural economy.
  2. Practices in developing rural economy in the western districts of Hanoi in recent years have raised a number of problems that need to be focused, namely: 1) The ensuring factors for developing productive forces are unstable, uneven between sectors, areas and localities; 2) Solving the elements of production relations are not really reasonable, such as: Relationship of land ownership, relationship of economic benefit distribution and the organizational forms of production and business in rural areas which are the drags in the process of ensuring sustainable development of the rural economy in the western districts of Hanoi.
  3. Based on the practice and forecast of the development trend of rural economy in the next decade, it is necessary to implement synchronous measures to ensure the sustainable development of the rural economy in the western districts of Hanoi until 2025 and coming years, in which three key solutions should be focused on : 1) To promote the development of productive forces; 2) To improve production relations; 3) To promote the role of the political system in rural areas.
